(In a lighter vein!)

I am incorrigible! I am sorry…but I am a compulsive humourist looking for humour at every nook and corner of every situation for an opportunity...
Even when I spent nearly a week in Max Hospital tending to my father who was admitted there for treatment, I came across a notice which read:
“Attention Please
A Mock Fire Evacuation Drill for “Staff Only” will be conducted on 17th December 2008 from 10.00 Hrs to 12.00 Hrs.
Please do not feel alarmed.
Inconvenience is regretted.”
This notice was posted on the inside portion of the door of every room. If at all, it should have caused alarm and inconvenience on the 17th.
As I said, I was not a patient. I was an attendant. I did not know whether I was allowed to get alarmed and inconvenienced against my father’s hospital bill. However, my father could not have got alarmed or inconveniced because he could not see the notice from his bed!
Anyhow, it caused a lot of worry and anxiety to me! The notice spoke of a Mock Fire Evacuation Drill for “Staff Only.” What does that mean?
What happens in the event of an actual fire…only the staff gets evacuated?
