Did Air France flight AF-447 that took off from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for Paris hit the Bermuda Triangle? If not, how do we explain the mysterious disappearance of the flight from the radar?
According to reports, the flight AF-447 took off with 228 passengers from Brazil at 7pm Sunday local time (3.30am Monday IST) and was supposed to arrive Paris at 11.15am on Monday (2.45pm Monday IST). Of the 228 passengers, at least 60 are French and an equal number of passengers were Brazilians.
An Air France release said: “the Airbus flew into stormy weather four hours after take-off from Brazil and soon afterwards sent an automatic message reporting electrical faults.” The condolence messages sent out by the airlines indicates that it is clueless about the fate of the passengers and that it is not hopeful of finding any survivors.
While possibility of a lightning strike or hitting heavy turbulence are being put forth as reasons which could have led the flight to crash into the Atlantic Ocean, these do not explain the disappearance of the aircraft from the radar as well as from sight. That the wreckage has not been recovered 20 hours after the disappearance of the aircraft should add to our anxiety and set us thinking.
When the flight lost contact, the aircraft was flying over North Atlantic Ocean between Brazil and the Coast of Africa. Though the flight route does not pass over the Bermuda Triangle, the Bermuda Triangle is not very from the route.
When the aircraft was negotiating the thunderous zone with strong turbulence, it might have got thrown out of its flight route and got sucked into the Bermuda Triangle. Or, maybe, the Bermuda Triangle itself might be shifting a bit? If we do not find the wreckage in the next few days, the investigators may like to investigate this angle.
The Bermuda Triangle is the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean which falls within the triangle formed by Florida, Puerto Rico and Bermuda. Many aircrafts and ships have disappeared under mysterious circumstances in the Bermuda Triangle.
If man was intended to fly God would have made us with wings...
May God bless all familys affected!
The aircraft was definitely not in the Bermuda Triangle when it lost contact but it was in the adjacent area. What I said was strong winds could throw the craft off course. If it got anywhere near the triangle, the craft would automatically get sucked into the Bermuda Triangle and the aircraft would disappear. That is a phenomenon that has yet to be deciphered.
I agree with you. May God give the families of the victims enough courage to tide over this crisis.
I join you and the whole world in offering my heartfelt condolences to near and dear ones of those who lost their lives in this mishap.
Thanks for adding a philosophical angle to this story.

The aircraft disappeared in the eastern part of the North Atlantic Ocean and the Bermuda Triangle is located at the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean but there is no solid wall dividing the two.
We have to wait for the Bermuda Triangle to reveal its secrests.
I share your views and sympathy.

That is true. The location where the aircraft lost contact is adjacent to the Bermuda Triangle.
The aircraft went missing in Eastern North Atlantic Ocean and the Bermuda Triangle is in the Western North Atlantic Ocean. It is not as if we are talkiing of Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean.
