By Vincent Van Ross
We live our lives by hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries and millennia.
That is why we lose focus of our day to day life. That is why we live in the past, complain about the present and worry about our future.
If we want to lead a more meaningful life, we must start living our lives by the moment. If we do that, we would be so engrossed with our activities of every moment that we would never find time to cling to our past. We would be so occupied and focused with every moment of our life that we would never find time to find faults with the present. And, we would be so engrossed with the present moment that we would never find the time to worry about what the future holds for us.
If we live every moment of our lives to the fullest, we would never regret anything in our lives. We would not cling to our past. Our present would be smooth sailing. And, we would never have to fear about our future.
If we focus on the present moment and give it our best, we have done justice to our job. We have done the best we could do. We have done justice the moment.
If we do justice to every moment, we do justice to every second of the minute; we do justice to every minute of the hour; we do justice to every hour of the day; we do justice to every day of the week; we do justice to every week of the month; we do justice to every month of the year; we do justice to every year of the decade; we do justice to every decade of the century; and, so on and so forth.
What more can the world demand of us?!
You are a Zen master, nice write up, things which we all know, are the things we usu
usally forgot.

Hats off to your composed sanity!
If you found repose in this article, I feel flattered. That is more than what any blogger could ask of his post.
One of the fellow bloggers who visited this page summarised my piece quite aptly. He said: If you take care of your cents, dollars will take care of themselves.
It is something we all know. There are no two ways about it.
The secret is to keep yourself occupied. If you are really busy, you would never find time to think of the past or the future.
Thanks for all your compliments.
